Class Evaluation

1. This year I liked how we were able to work on projects that helped us understand the material.  I also liked how we worked on scratch and code the whole year. It helped me learn how to create a program using many kinds of blocks such as, scripts, costumes and sounds. I really liked how we worked in partners because we were able to learn from each other and get the help we needed in order to create a program. 

2. I didn't like how we had to watch videos in order to learn how to code. They were really long. I also didn't like the homework he had especially when not everyone has a laptop. It lowered my grade and I still couldn't make the work up. Although the teacher was really nice, I wasn't able to ask questions because the answer couldn't be told my the teacher.

3. I feel like this class could be better if the teacher assigned more projects that would help us understand the material. I also feel like the teacher should help us and give lessons in order for us to learn instead of always being on code or scratch.

4. The highlight for me in this class was in the beginning of the school year when we were actually building projects that would help me understand what we were trying to learn. By building a model I was able to understand a little bit more of how we send each other messages my coding.

5. I can say that I really did try because my goal was to get a solid A but nothing helped me reach it. I was always so close but they actually got an A. I did all the assignments and homework and tried to do my best to understand the topic or material. I also really did try on the AP exam because that was also a big goal for me. To pass it, especially because I took this class 3 times. 

6. I read my Life Planning Goals Journal almost everyday. I do plan to keep adding to it especially in college when i have to challenge myself in order to pass the class, get involved and to graduate. In life I will also try my best to keep reading it especially because I have so many goals to accomplish. 

7. I feel like choosing the right could help me make great decisions in life and help me achieve my goals, that's why I do plan to be a CTR and Arete person. I've always been and I'll try to keep being and Arete person in the future.

Class Evaluation

1, In this class I liked how we learned something new everyday, different topics. We had to learn it by ourselves so that was half good and half bad. 

2. I didn't like how we used code.org everyday and how the assignments were very similar. I also didn't like how we had to learn it by ourselves and didn't get the work explained. Sometimes i didn't even know how to do it but I still did. I also did not like how each assignment was 100 points and i would never get a perfect score, when i know i deserved better. 

3. Grading the assignments should be better, because sometimes my grade would stay the same for so long when i knew i had done my work correct.

4. Even though I didn't know some parts of the assignment, I learned a lot, slowly but i learned it. 

I also really liked the activities we would do at the beginning of the year like projects but then later in the semester, we just stayed in our seats, I love learning visually and that's why I liked it. 

5. I was motivated to have an A in this class but there was times that i didn't try my best because i had college apps and so much on my plate but i always tried to give it my all throughout the work. 

6. I keep studying and doing research of everything I've learned throughout the semester on code.org. Sometimes I go back and redo the assignments. 

7. I have added some of my new goals and I read quite often to remind me of the goals I want to achieve like passing this class with an A. 

8. Yes I'm committed to be a CTR and Arete person because if it wasn't for choosing the right or Arete my grade would have been really low and i would've given up a long time ago.

Needle-Free Diabetes Care

The Needle-Free Diabetes Care is a safer way to test your glucose without a shot of "poking" yourself. There is no need of needles to get your insulin shot. Instead of a needle if will have a harmless patch. It send the data through a monitor without any complications. This will solve many problems like when people with diabetes fear needles and can't take the shot. It will also solve many infections cause by the needles to the skin. Instead of just having diabetes, you will also have many infections around your body that might cause other diseases. I think this is a great innovation because I have family members with diabetes and the way they keep taking their insulin shot every time they're going to eat is painful and dangerous.With this innovation diabetes can be treated safely.

Car-to-car is a new innovation that people from Michigan University ar tring to make to make vehicles signal eachother to prevent accidents.Car-to-car communication systems transmit their position, speed, break engagement, and other data to all vehicles that are nearby.It will impact all of those who are around drunk drivers or any accident that might happen. With this innovation people will know what is around them. For example, a man can be driving but with this innovation he will know the car across from him is going to fast, he will know to stop, move aside, or go slower to prevetn any accidents, It will simply solve many accidents on the road. I think it is a great innovation because it's saving lives and its a great way to track the vehicles actions.

The Optic Helmet

This helmet gives cyclist a 360 degree view of the road. It features front and back cameras and a drop-down visor that can overlay live-streaming footage from the camera onto a rider's field of view. This helmet also gives warnings like if the vehicle is overtaking the rider. It will impact many cyclist because it will protect them some more. With all of these warnings, the cyclist would have a low chance of getting into an accident. This helmet will solve accidents around the world. I think it's a great innovation because it will simply safe many lives on the road and it will make riding a vehicle so much safer.
